Auction coin: a commemorative issue: Russian 2-ruble silver coin from 1995: „Victory Parade in Moscow -Marshal Zhukov on Red Square in Moscow” from  coin series:  „The 50th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”.

   Features: composition: silver (.500),   weight: 15.87 g,  diameter: 33.0 mm,  thickness: 2.40 mm,  Moscow Mint – mintage: 200 000 pcs.

   Marshal Georgy Zhukov (1896-1974), a Soviet military commander, fought in the First and Second World Wars. From 1941 to 1945 he was Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Minister of Defence and Deputy Supreme Commander-in-Chief. On May 8, 1945, he accepted on behalf of the Supreme Commander the surrender of Nazi German troops at Karlshorst, a suburb of Berlin.

   I am dissolving parts of my private collection. Collector's exchange is possible.

   On the day of shipping the auction coin, the buyer  will receive by e-mail a photos of the shipment (wrapped auction coin, addressed envelope), a photograph of the post office receipt and tracking number.
