Auction coin: 2005, Ukraine, 5 Hryven - commemorative issue: „Antonov AN-124” from coin-series: „Airplanes of Ukraine”.

  The coin is dedicated to 'Ruslan' AN-124 aircraft, the world biggest as to its size and carrying capacity, which is now in serial production and is unique as to its transport efficiency.

  Features: special uncirculated,  composition: nickel brass (German silver), diameter-35.0 mm, weight: 16.54 g. Mintage of 60,000 pcs. Mint: Kyiv,Ukraine.

  Obverse: in the center of the circle made of a string of beads there is depicted the small National Emblem of Ukraine within an allegoric composition of the sun, a conventionalized wing, birds and stars that symbolize the dream of mankind to reach outer space. There are the following inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2005, 5, ГРИВЕНЬ (Ukraine/ 5/ hryvnia/ 2005). On the coin there is also the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine.

  Reverse: there is depicted 'Ruslan' AN-124 aircraft and between the coin outer rim and the bead circle there are circular inscriptions: ЛІТАКИ УКРАЇНИ (aircrafts of Ukraine) - above; АН-124 'РУСЛАН'(Ruslan) - beneath. Between these two inscriptions there is 'AН' (AN).  Edge: corrugated. 

  I am dissolving parts of my private collection. Collector's exchange is possible.

    On the day of shipping the buyer  will receive by e-mail a photos of the shipment (wrapped auction coin, addressed envelope), a photograph of the post office receipt and tracking number.
