 Auction item – 1990, Poland, a set of circulation coins issued to the old (communist) and the new design.Â
  Until 1989, the Polish People's Republic was a non-sovereign state and dependent on the USSR.  In 1989, after the collapse of the bloc socialist states, a new name state was introduced (Poland - Rzeczpospolita Polska) and the pre-war state emblem was restored – name: Polish People's Republic (Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa) has gone down in history.
 Only in 1990, circulation coins were issued according to two designs: old, communist model (with the name of the Polish People's Republic and the socialist state emblem) and a new (with name: Rzeczpospolita Polska and a new, pre-war state emblem).
  The set consists of the following 8 pieces circulations coins issued in 1990:
1. 1 ZÅ‚oty 1990 (small type), composition: aluminium, weight: 0.57 g, diameter: 16,0 mm, edge: reeded (previous - socialist design of the coin).
2. 2 ZÅ‚oty 1990, composition: aluminium, weight: 0.71 g, diameter: 18,0 mm, edge: reeded, (previous - socialist design of the coin).
3. 5 ZÅ‚otych 1990, composition: aluminium, weight: 0.88 g, diameter: 20,0 mm, edge: reeded, (previous - socialist design of the coin).
4. 10 ZÅ‚otych 1990, composition: brass, weight: 4.27 g, diameter: 22,0 mm, edge: reeded, (previous - socialist design of the coin).
5. 20 ZÅ‚otych 1990, composition: copper-nickel, weight: 5.65 g, diameter: 24,0 mm, edge: reeded (previous - socialist design of the coin).
6. 50 ZÅ‚otych 1991, composition: copper-nickel, weight: 6.80 g, diameter: 26,0 mm, edge: smooth (new coin design).
7. 100 ZÅ‚otych 1991, composition: copper-nickel, weight: 7.68 g, diameter: 25,0 mm, edge: plain (new coin design).
8. 10000 ZÅ‚otych 1990, a commemorative coin- 10 years of Solidarity, composition: copper-nickel, weight: 10.80 g, diameter: 29,0 mm, edge: milled (new coin design).
  The coins are in numismatic holders with a description. Each numismatic holder with coin are shown on separate photos. Â
  I am dissolving parts of my private collection. Collector's exchange is possible.

  On the day of shipping the auction set, the buyer will receive by e-mail a photos of the shipment (wrapped auction set, addressed envelope), a photograph of the post office receipt and tracking number.
