Auction set - a set of 15 Russian circulation coins from 1 to 100 rubles from 1992-1993, these are the first Russian circulation coins issued after the collapse of the USSR. The next circulation coins appeared in 1997, after the redenomination of the ruble.

  Obverse: the Emblem of the Bank of Russia (the two-headed eagle). Reverse: the value with leaves on both sides and the date below.  Mint marks: Л (Leningrad Mint), ММД (Moscow Mint - new mint mark), M (Moscow Mint - previous mint mark).  

  The set consists of the following 15 coins:

5.  1992, Russia, 5 Rubles (M),  magnetic,  composition: brass clad steel, diameter – 21.9 mm,  thickness – 1.75 mm,  weight – 4.1 gr,  mint mark: M (Moscow Mint).  Edge: smooth.  Y# 312.

8.  1992, Russia, 20 Rubles (MМД),  non magnetic,  composition: copper-nickel,  diameter – 24.0 mm,  thickness – 1.6 mm,  weight – 5.25 gr,  mint mark: MМД (Moscow Mint).  Edge: alternating smooth and reeded segments. Y# 314.

9.  1992, Russia, 20 Rubles (ЛМД),  non magnetic,  composition: copper-nickel,  diameter – 24.0 mm,  thickness – 1.6 mm,  weight – 5.25 gr,  mint mark: ЛМД (Saint Petersburg Mint).  Edge: alternating smooth and reeded segments. Y# 314.

10.  1992, Russia, 50 Rubles (ЛМД),  non magnetic,  composition: bimetallic, diameter – 25.0 mm,  thickness – 1.9 mm,  weight – 6.0 gr,  mint mark: ЛМД (Saint Petersburg Mint).  Edge: alternating smooth and reeded segments. Y# 315.

14.  1992, Russia, 100 Rubles (ЛМД), non magnetic, composition: bimetallic,  diameter – 25.0 mm,  thickness – 1.95 mm,  weight – 6.30 gr,  mint mark: ЛМД (Saint Petersburg Mint).  Edge: segmentedly milled.  Y# 316.

15.  1993, Russia, 100 Rubles (ЛМД), non magnetic, composition: nickel brass,  diameter – 27.0 mm,  thickness – 1.9 mm,  weight – 7.45 gr,  mint mark: ЛМД (Saint Petersburg Mint).  Edge: 12 sections each smooth and milled.  Y# 338.
