Auction coin: 1995, Ukraine, 200 000 Karbovantsiv - Commemorative issue: „400th anniversary of birth of Bohdan Khmelnytsky” from coin series: „Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine”. This is the second commemorative Ukrainian coin, introduced into circulation on June 19, 1995 and withdrawn from circulation on September 17, 1996.

  Features: prooflike, composition: copper-nickel, diameter-33.0 mm, weight: 14.35 g. Mintage of 250,000 pcs. Mint: Moscow Mint, Russia.  Obverse: there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. There are per five leaves and three bunch of berries on each spray. Upper bunch consists of seven berries, middle - of five, lower - of six berries. Above the State Emblem, there is the year of issue -1995 and inscriptions.

  Reverse: in the center there is the photographic picture of Bohdan Khmelnytsky monument at the Sophia square in Kyiv. Around the circumference there is an inscription БОГДАН on the left, ХМЕЛЬНИЦЬКИЙ - on the right, 1595-1657 - against a background of the pedestal. Edge: corrugate.
